By the end of 2020 our goal is to source 100% of our sofa leather from sustainable suppliers that can prove their supply chain doesn’t cause deforestation.
We use both faux and natural leathers for our sofas, to give you the choice you’re most comfortable with. Natural leather is very durable, making it a great option for sofas that stand out in style and last for a long time.
We are fully aware that leather sourcing can have a detrimental effect on the environment, which is why we ask that all of our suppliers comply with our leather sourcing policy. This ensures that the leather we use does not do the planet any harm.
As a sustainable retailer we ensure that all the leather we can use:
Come from animal skins which are a by-product of the meat industry and that the animals are not killed specifically for its skin or fur.
Are not be obtained from live, aborted or endangered animals (including any species listed on the three CITES Appendices).
