We have six stores with more on the way; over 300,000 customers and we deliver our furniture using our own fleet of vans throughout the country. Our support office is based in Dunstable.

Graphic Designer

London, Head Office

We currently have the ability to offer internships in Graphic Design, Web development and PR & Social Media, all based in our Head office in London Bridge.

Our internships are available for a period of 6 - 12 months (negotiable if longer or shorter is required)

We can offer a vast amount of hands-on experience in your chosen area. As part of a small hardworking team you will be involved in all aspects of how the brand and our products are taken to market. We will cover travel expenses.

Graphic Design Internship
Planning a career as a graphic designer? This is an opportunity to gain experience with a growing company and play a key role in the success and further expansion of a business. You will learn how to match your flair for design with a sense of commerciality, you should be bright and imaginative and have good communication skills.

The tasks you will gain experience in will include the creation of catalogue page layouts, creating POS for stores including window vinyl's, ticketing & customer sign up, designing leaflets , designing emails and web updates, creating and preparing adverts for consumer magazines and weekend supplements, how to liaise with printers over production and costs and repro houses and meet all deadlines.

You will need some knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and have exciting examples of your work to support your CV, along with the enthusiasm to gain experience and progress within your chosen field.

Skills
- Excellent spoken and written English skills is essential

Web Developer Internship
Are you looking for experience as web developer? do you have a passion for everything online and interest in how it can drive a business forward?This is an opportunity to gain experience with a growing company and play a key role in the success and further expansion of a business. You will learn how to match your technical skills with a sense of commerciality, you should be bright and imaginative, and have good communication skills.

Working closely with Marketing & IT, the tasks you will gain experience in will include mobile web solutions, improving online functionality, creating dynamic and measurable emails as well as how to review the performance of the online activity.

Our development cycle is extremely fast, we set and achieve our deadlines. We are known to write code and have it running live on the site on the same day giving a sense of work satisfaction by seeing the completed task working.

Visual Merchandiser Co-ordinator

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Visual Merchandiser Co-ordinator to work nationally in our stores throughout the UK.

Dwell is a highly exciting brand offering discerning customers contemporary, unique in-house designed furniture alongside a wide range of home accessories in a stimulating contemporary retail environment. The company operates a mail order catalogue, has a strong online presence and an expanding retail division. We currently operate 5 stores: London - Tottenham Court Road, Westfield White City & Westfield Stratford, Barton Square - Manchester & Princes Square in Glasgow.

The role requires a dynamic, highly organised and experienced visual merchandiser with a minimum of 3 years experience in home wares or furniture who has a hands-on attitude and approach with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

The key tasks of the position are:

  • Responsibility for the implementation of all agreed VM guidelines
  • Developing and setting VM solutions for new accessory ranges
  • Ensuring store & VM standards are met and maintained
  • The updating of store layouts in line with new furniture range launches
  • Implementing all seasonal and promotional POS and visual displays in the stores
  • Creating and updating VM packs and ensuring brand consistency across all stores
  • Managing the budget for all store VM consumables

In addition to the above you will need excellent communication and influencing skills as the role includes the supporting and training of new and existing showroom staff within the area of VM

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director you will also be involved in the developing and implementation of an annual merchandising strategy.

Retail Operations Co-ordinator

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Retail Operations Co-ordinator to work nationally in our stores throughout the UK.

The company operates a mail order catalogue, has a strong online presence and an expanding retail division. The position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, ideally within the home wares or furniture sector and will be store based. You will be a dynamic, highly organised and experienced Retail Operations Co-ordinator with the ability to juggle a varied workload have excellent communications skills, a hands-on attitude and the ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines and budgets. You will deal with all departments across the Company using integrity and confidentiality.

Main objectives:-

  • To offer support to the Retail Director in the day to day running of the retail operation
  • Manage all head office to store communications
  • Create, maintain and distribute all necessary weekly retail reports
  • Manage all retail consumables stock negotiating best price and discounts
  • Manage all maintenance requirements of the stores
  • Ensure all required H&S legislation is met and maintained
  • Co-ordinate stock checks and ensure all agreed financial procedures are maintained
  • Support store managers with the aim of achieving maximum sales
  • Assist store managers in the recruitment & training of top quality sales staff
  • Support stores during managers annual leave or staff shortage
  • Work closely with all departments especially Customer services manager to ensure excellent customer service is offered
  • To work retail store hours as necessary including evenings, weekends and holidays

We have an exciting vacancies for full-time Sales Consultant for our stores in

  • London : Tottenham Court Road, Westfield White City & Stratford
  • Glasgow : Princes Square


We aren't your average retailer and so we're not looking for someone average. We are looking for someone who has the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience in sales and customer service in a retail environment or in another customer focused industry
  • Be able to demonstrable experience in exceptional customer service and able to demonstrate how you build that relationship.
  • Thrive on targets and ensure that customers receive an exceptional shopping experience
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Displays a huge amount of enthusiasm, energy and passion for our products and brand. You need to love our products and you will be expected to discuss your favorites with us at interview
  • A part of your role will involve receiving regular deliveries from our Warehouse, helping with lifting and moving customer collections and supporting the Store Manager with store layouts. Manual handling experience and training would be strongly advantageous. Training will be provided but the ability to carry out the above is essential.

  • Be computer literate
